Sources Sought Notice

This Sources Sought Notice (SS) is for informational and planning purposes to identify vendors capable of providing one (1) brand-name "Orion" Flex HPD Turntable Pallet Wrapping System, or an equal product. The USDA Forest Service is seeking this information to determine qualified sources and may issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) based on the responses. No payment will be made for responding to this notice.

• One (1) "Orion" Flex HPD Turntable Pallet Wrapping System base machine with custom options, or equal.

• Base Machine Features: Heavy Duty with Color Touch-Screen & Deluxe Control Features, 30" Insta-Thread 260% Carriage with Insta-Cut, Special Load Height Photocell for Dark/Opaque Loads.

• Custom Options: Extended Mast for Loads up to 110" tall, Electronic Weigh Scale Package (IP65 rating), 18" Base Extension from Tower, Dark Load Photo Eye Basic Spare Parts Kit.

• FOB Destination Shipment to Northern Rockies Incident Support Cache (NRK) in Missoula, MT.

• Installation of the machine at the delivery location.

• Cache employee training on machine operations.

• This is not a solicitation or an obligation to award a contract. No funds are authorized or appropriated for this effort.
