Scope of Work
This solicitation requires all labor, wiring, ditching, materials, and equipment for the installation of two pre-procured automatic security gates at South Netul and the Visitor Center Entrance Road. Key tasks include:
- Demolition of existing gate structures and excavation for new posts and housing units.
- Boring or trenching for electrical conduit (approx. 130-170 linear feet).
- Installation of new gate posts, electrical conduit, battery housing units, and associated hardware.
- Full programming of automatic gates, including control units, sensors, safety devices, open/close cycles, access control, and remote operation capabilities.
- Testing of safety shutoffs, obstruction detection, and emergency manual release.
- Obtaining all required electrical permits and coordinating inspections, ensuring compliance with applicable electrical codes and NPS standards.
- Archaeological monitoring will be provided by Government personnel during ground-disturbing activities.
