Scope of Work
The core requirement involves the collection and transportation of human remains from any location on the UK mainland, including minimum preparations and legal paperwork. Key services include:
- Tiered transportation pricing based on distance: within 30 miles, 30-150 miles, and outside 150 miles.
- Capability to transport remains to the contractor's licensed facility for interim holding, including secure, refrigerated (non-frozen) storage for up to 30 days.
- Onward transportation from the contractor's facility to RAF Mildenhall or RAF Lakenheath as directed.
- Providing required documentation for off-island transport to the next destination or Point of Embarkation (POE).
- Estimated annual volume is 1-5 services.
