Scope of Work
This acquisition covers comprehensive dockside repairs for the USCGC MAPLE. Key work items include, but are not limited to:
- Fire prevention requirements dockside
- Cleaning and inspection of various tanks (hydraulic oil, lube oil, potable water, grey water, sewage)
- Inspection and service of hydraulic and mechanical systems (cargo hatch, chain stoppers, winches, davits, buoy crane)
- Commercial cleaning of exhaust piping (Main Diesel Engine, Ship Service Diesel Generator) and vent ducts
- Hull fittings inspection and testing
- Preservation of sewage holding tanks and compartment decks
- Renewals of pilot house windows, handrail stanchions, LED flood lights, watertight deck penetrations, external deck drains, vent closures, weather deck kick pipes, vent screens/louvers, and piping/compartment insulation
- Interior deck covering renewals
- Repairs to Aft Capstan Control Stand Foundation, Buoy Deck Control Booth Plating, and Buoy Port Fairing
