The requirement is for one Gooseneck Service Body to be installed on a 2026 Silverado HD 5500 Crew Cab chassis with a 60" cab to axle. The service body must be constructed from 14-gauge, A-40 galvanneal steel, featuring a raised front, flip top, and rear underbody integrated compartments. Key features include a full-height slam tailgate, 7" deep rear step, headboard with stop-turn lights, and a B&W Turnoverball® hitch rated for 30,000 lb. gross trailer weight.

Additional specifications include double-shell compartment doors with slam latches, 36" high front compartments with adjustable 250 lb. capacity shelves, LED lighting, E-Coat for corrosion resistance, and Oxford White paint. The body must also include mechanics drawers, a rear receiver hitch (21K lbs), a 15gpm fill-rite pump, and a >75-gallon auxiliary fuel tank. An air compressor (Honda GX390 or similar, 30 CFM @ 100psi) with a 50' hose, 10-gallon air tank, and AGM battery is also required. The specifications are based on KNAPHEIDE PGTD GOOSENECK BODY and VMAC G30.
