- Quality Assurance: Contractors must have an acceptable Quality Assurance Manual and maintain a quality system compliant with ISO-9001 (or MIL-I-45208) and calibration system requirements of ISO-10012 (or MIL-STD-45662). Government Quality Assurance (GQA) at source is required.
- Traceability: Strict material traceability and certification requirements are in place for Level I/SUBSAFE systems, including unique traceability numbers, material marking, and detailed certification reports (DI-MISC-81020).
