• PET/CT Scanner: Minimum features include LYSO crystal technology, 64 slice (128 preferred) CTAC, Time of Flight scanning (<600ps timing resolution), QSuite or equivalent, QClear reconstruction or equivalent, QCORE Power upgrade or equivalent, 2M Scan Range preferred, latest software, Windows 10 or later, and Motion Compensation Technology. Specific advanced scan tools for oncology, neuro, cardiac, etc., are required. Must be ACR Accredited.

• Services: Vendor provides transportation, PACS network connectivity, initial medical physics compliance testing, shielding verification, maintenance (OEM FSE, parts, labor), and training for VA staff. VA staff will handle scheduling and patient imaging. Professional component (image interpretation) is provided by VA Nuclear Medicine Physicians.

• Compliance: Must meet all local, state, federal, industry, NHPP, NRC, Joint Commission, NEC, NFPA, VA, and OSHA standards. Includes specific requirements for radiation shielding and radioactive material licensing.
