Services are required Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays and training days, and up to 28 Saturdays annually, totaling approximately 264 service days per year. Additional "mission day" meals may be required for applicants processing late into the evening. Mealtimes are from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

Meal Specifications:

  • Noon Meals: Must include an entrée (choice of two meats), starch, vegetable, salad, bread/rolls, dessert, beverage, and condiments.
  • Mission Day Meals: May include hot sandwiches (with specified fillings and bread), side dishes, chips, fresh fruit, and a beverage.

Performance Standards: Meals must be prepared in a state/local licensed facility or restaurant with a current health inspection (private homes are prohibited). All food establishment operations must comply with federal, state, and local health regulations. Food must be transported in covered containers, and serving/dining sites must be cleaned daily with garbage removed. Contractor employees are required to complete AT Level I, IWATCH, and OPSEC awareness training and comply with installation access and security policies.

Logistics: The contractor is responsible for securing their own parking, managing meal vouchers, and obtaining applicant signatures. The Government will provide the annual operations schedule and daily notification by 8:00 a.m. of the number of lunches required.
