Scope of Work
The contract requires comprehensive services for four water towers at Hurlburt Field, FL (Bldgs. #90335, #90354, #91134, #90808). Services include:
- Inspection: Structural and coating integrity inspections every five years by a licensed professional engineer; annual exterior checks.
- Cleaning: Interior cleaning every five years to remove biogrowth, deposits, and sludge.
- Maintenance & Repair: Painting and repair services on an as-needed basis.
- Reporting: Detailed written reports with findings, recommendations, labeled photographs, and estimated repair costs (one hard copy, one digital CD).

Key Requirements & Standards
Work must comply with American Water Works Association (AWWA) Standards D100 and D102, and Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 62-555.350. Minimizing water tower downtime is imperative. Contractors must adhere to all applicable safety regulations (OSHA, Air Force standards), environmental protection regulations, and Hurlburt Field base entry/security requirements. Coordination with the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron (1SOCES) Inspector or Contracting Officer is required for service interruptions.
