Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide weekly rental and laundering of cloth rags/wipes and bath towels for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Western Currency Facility (WCF).

• The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other non-personal services necessary for the weekly rental and laundering of rags/wipes and towels.

• Laundering services must be performed off-site.

• The Contractor shall provide various types of towels and shop towels/wipes, including white bath towels, blue/grey plate printing shop towels/wipes, red shop towels/wipes, blue/grey offset printing shop towels/wipes, and white virgin shop towels/wipes.

• The Contractor shall also provide and maintain gondolas for clean towels/wipes and plastic rag barrels for soiled towels/wipes.

• Transportation of soiled shop towels/wipes is included, with specific requirements for handling solvent-contaminated items as EPA hazardous waste.

• Quality Control: Contractor must develop and maintain a Quality Control System and Plan.

• Performance Requirements: Specific performance objectives and standards are detailed in Technical Exhibit 1, including maintaining minimum services for various tasks and achieving 95% deviation from standard for towel/wipe delivery.

• Acceptable Quality Levels (AQLs): Positive or negative customer feedback will be reported in CPARS based on performance against AQLs.

• Place of Performance: Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Western Currency Facility (WCF), 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, TX 76131-3304.

• Period of Performance: One (1) base year and two (2) option years.

  • Base Year: May 28, 2026 through May 27, 2027
