Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

The Department of War (DoW) requires annual preventative maintenance, inspection, and repair services for its inventory of small arms to ensure maximum operational readiness, serviceability, and safety.

• Provide annual service on specified firearms, including Sig Sauer M17 Handguns (QTY: 76), FN M4 Rifles (QTY: 08), and Benelli M4 Shotguns (QTY: 17).

• Tasks include:

  • Complete disassembly for inspection and cleaning.
  • Thorough cleaning of all components.
  • Detailed inspection for wear, damage, or defects.
  • Repair or replacement of components to ensure full serviceability.
  • Reassembly and function checks to manufacturer specifications.

• All work shall be conducted on-site at DLA San Joaquin, Building 235 (Police Department).

• Vendor location must be within 25 miles of DLA San Joaquin.

• Parts: Only Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or manufacturer-specification parts are authorized. No aftermarket parts.

• Additional Costs: Base contract covers one service per weapon annually. Additional parts require government POC approval before procurement and invoicing.

• Contractor Qualifications: Technicians must provide verifiable proof of certification by the weapon manufacturer or possess an equivalent, recognized armorer's certification.

• Primary Deliverable: A fully serviceable weapon restored to manufacturer operational standards.

• Reporting: A service report detailing inspection findings, work performed, and parts replaced for each weapon.

• Acceptance: Work is accepted upon successful function check and delivery of the service report to the government POC.
