This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). It serves as the only solicitation, and no paper copies will be issued. The requirement is for welding equipment, specifically a MAGNATECH MODEL 420P WELD HEAD ASSEMBLY and a MAGNATECH PIPEMASTER, MODEL 516E welding machine.

• Welding Head: MAGNATECH MODEL 420P WELD HEAD ASSEMBLY, STANDARD PROFILE W/ANGLED AGC TORCH CABLE, P/N 420PTCB00C. Specifications include a range of 0.84" - 14" OD, suitable for multi-pass orbital GTAW pipe-to-pipe and pipe-to-fitting welds on carbon-based and exotic alloys. Compatible with PIPEMASTER 515 and 516 power supplies.

• Welding Machine: MAGNATECH PIPEMASTER, MODEL 516E, 50 FT., P/N EB516EMJC000. Features include 100/240 VAC, 1 Ø, 1 KVA, 50/60 HZ autoranging, 0-600 AMPS, digital controller, multi-pass welding for pipe, tube, and tubesheet, with full weld head control.

• Traceability Documentation: Offerors must submit traceability documentation to demonstrate compliance with specifications. Failure to do so may result in technical unacceptability.

• Brand Name: This requirement is brand name to MAGNATECH due to existing processes and training on US Naval Assets. Non-MAGNATECH manufacturers will not be considered.

• Responsibility: PPIRS will be used to determine vendor responsibility. Screening in accordance with FAR 9.104.

• Required Information in Quote: Price(s), FOB point, Cage Code, Point of Contact (name and phone number), GSA contract number (if applicable), business size under NAICS Code, preferred payment method (GCPC or WAWF). Payment terms are Net 30 Days AFTER acceptance of material.

• Set-Aside: 100% Small Business Set Aside.

• Registration: Quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).

• Company Information: Offerors must provide company size (Large, SB, SDB, VOSB, WOSB, EDWOSB, SDOVSB, HUBZONE, 8a), manufacturer name/location/size if not the manufacturer, and dealer independence status if applicable.

• Provisions: Offerors must complete and submit provisions 52.204-24, 52.204-26, 252.204-7016, and 252.204-7019.

• FAR/DFARS Clauses: Numerous FAR and DFARS clauses are incorporated by reference. Offerors are responsible for being familiar with them.

• Country of Origin: Vendor shall list the country of origin for each line item.

• Multiple Quotes: Multiple quotes from the same company will not be considered.

This document is a request for information regarding traceability for Welding Head and Welding Machine supplies, quoted in response to Solicitation SPMYM4-26-Q-3464. The supplies must be from the specified approved manufacturer, Magnatech llc.

• Provide documentation to establish traceability for the quoted item back to the approved source (Magnatech llc).

• Documentation must comply with Defense Logistics Acquisition Directive (DLAD) 52.217-9002.

• Any altered documentation is unacceptable.

• Documentation must trace the item from the quote back to the approved source.

• Deadline for traceability documentation: June 11, 2026, 12:00 PM Honolulu Standard Time.

• Failure to provide acceptable traceability documentation by the deadline will result in the rejection of the quote.

• The source of the documents may be contacted to validate information.

• All provided traceability information will be treated as proprietary and protected.

• A copy of a quotation from the approved source.

• A letter from the approved source stating your company is an authorized dealer/distributor, or the approved source's website listing your company as authorized.

• A letter from the approved source stating the company you are procuring from is an authorized dealer/distributor, along with a copy of that dealer/distributor's quotation to you.

• This is a critical requirement for technical acceptability. Ensure documentation is original and not created by your company.
