Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the requirements for window cleaning services at the Alexandria VA Health Care System located in Pineville, LA. The objective is to ensure all windows are cleaned to acceptable service levels and performance standards.

• The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, uniforms, and supervision necessary for window cleaning services.

• Services include cleaning all exterior and interior windows, front and back center foyer interior windows, and north and south entrance interior windows.

• Best commercial practices and accepted industry standards shall be applied.

• Exterior Window Cleaning: 98% minimum acceptable performance.

• Interior Window Cleaning: 98% minimum acceptable performance.

• Surveillance for both will be 100% inspection.

• Windows shall be washed using industry-approved techniques, producing a finished product free from streaks or blemishes.

• Any defects or deficiencies noticed during cleaning must be reported to the Government Representative.

• Place of Performance: Alexandria VA Health Care System, 2495 Shreveport HWY, Pineville, LA 71306.

• Services are to be scheduled on dates agreed upon after contract award, between 08:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

• Contractor must provide qualified technicians with relevant experience and training.

• Contractor must comply with all applicable installation, facility, and local security policies and procedures, including personal identity verification requirements.

• Contractor must provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as disposable gloves and masks.

• Contractor must comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and ANSI/ICWA 114 standards.

• Contractor is responsible for work area safety protection, including shielding and warning signs.

• Contractor must promptly repair any damage to VA property caused by their personnel or equipment.

• Contractor must provide Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all materials used.

• Contractor must clean up all affected areas after work completion to the satisfaction of the Government Representative.

• Services may be required on weekends and holidays.
