Statement of Work (SOW)

This Statement of Work outlines the requirements for the reconstruction of the Rob Brook Road Bridge in the White Mountain National Forest, Carroll County, New Hampshire.

• Demolition of the existing 28' timber bridge and disposal of all materials off Forest Service lands.

• Construction of a new 44' bridge using steel stringers, concrete abutments and wingwalls with micropiles, and a timber deck and wearing surface.

• Additional work includes armoring the shore with riprap, guardrail installation, and approach surface treatment.

• The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, permits, and incidentals necessary for completion.

• The period of performance is 150 days following Notice to Proceed.

• All work shall be completed no later than December 30, 2026.

• Permits: Contractor must obtain any necessary permits or amendments to government-obtained permits.

• Tree Cutting: Restricted to November 1st and April 14th, unless otherwise approved.

• Staging Area: Coordinate with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).

• Landscaping Preservation: Confine operations to designated clearing limits.

• Access: Contractor may use Meadow Brook trail for access, responsible for any repairs.
