Scope of Work
The contractor will translate FEMA's English-language materials into Central Alaskan Yup'ik, including disaster preparedness guides, public safety notices, recovery program documents, and community outreach content. Services also include proofreading, quality assurance, and maintaining document formatting and layout. Translations must be accurate, culturally appropriate, and compliant with regulatory requirements and Section 508 accessibility standards. The contractor must respond to requests within 2 hours and provide daily updates during active disaster operations.
