Scope of Work
The requirement involves replacing existing Wrong Way Detection System sensors at designated Access Control Points (ACPs) at Shaw AFB. Key tasks include:
- Removing current sensors and installing upgraded, compatible replacement sensors.
- Utilizing all existing infrastructure (conduit, wiring, mounting locations, control systems, annunciation interfaces) without modification.
- Ensuring the new system continues to detect wrong-way entry (vehicle, pedestrian, bicycle) and transmits signals to the existing control system for alerts.
- Providing labor, materials, tools, and equipment for the replacement.
- Performing functional testing and providing manufacturer documentation and basic system operation guidance.
- Replacement sensors must be Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS).
- No system redesign, construction, excavation, or installation of new infrastructure is included.
