Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide non-personal laboratory support services in a moderate complexity outpatient clinical laboratory setting. Services include diagnostic testing (chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, microbiology), phlebotomy, specimen collection and handling, quality control, documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), patient flow management, and coordination with healthcare providers. Services will be performed during clinic operating hours, not exceeding 40 hours per week.
Key Personnel Qualifications:
- Medical Laboratory Scientist: Current/valid MLS/MT/CLS certification, current CPR, and at least one (1) year of experience.
- Medical Technician (Phlebotomy): At least one (1) year of phlebotomy experience and current CPR certification. All personnel must meet Yakama Service Unit credentialing and background requirements, and comply with CLIA, COLA, OSHA, HIPAA, Privacy Act, and Public Law 101-630 for contact with Indian children. Professional liability coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence is required.
