Quick Summary
The National Park Service (NPS) Denver Service Center is conducting market research through a Sources Sought notice for the "YELL 326141 MODULAR UNITS" requirement. This is to identify business interest and capabilities for the construction of approximately 16 modular housing units for employees within Yellowstone National Park. The information gathered will help develop an acquisition strategy and determine potential set-aside opportunities. Responses are due by Noon Mountain Time on June 12, 2026.
Project Description & Scope
The project involves the construction of 16 modular housing units at three distinct sites within Yellowstone National Park:
- Canyon Government Area (northwest of Canyon Village)
- Northeast Entrance Government Area (west of Cooke City, Montana)
- Mammoth Government Area (Mammoth, Wyoming)
Site construction includes grading, roadway construction, drainage, and utility installation (electrical, telecom, potable water, fire suppression, sanitary sewer). Construction activities are anticipated to be concurrent across all three sites. Contractors must manage work in an active park environment, minimizing visitor impact, implementing environmental protective measures, and potentially performing seasonal/winter construction.
