The project involves replacing obsolete hardware and converting existing flowchart logic to ladder logic using Automation Direct's Do-More Designer software. The contractor will also recreate HMI screens and tags to match existing functionality, layouts, graphics, alarms, trends, and navigation using Automation Direct's C-More software. The goal is to enhance reliability, maintainability, and operational sustainability, ensuring secure communication with park infrastructure.
Key Requirements & Deliverables
The contractor will be responsible for:
- Converting existing flowchart logic to ladder logic within a new Automation Direct Do-More PLC platform.
- Installing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), including specific Automation Direct hardware (H2-DM1E CPU, H2-ERM100, 2x H2-EBC100).
- Updating the PLC program and recreating HMI screens to match existing functionality.
- Performing full operational validation of all HMI functions.
- Providing digital copies of all newly created operational programs, schematics, as-builts, and address tags.
- The plant will be shut down for approximately one week for the upgrade, with the contractor choosing the shutdown period between October 31 and November 30, 2026.
