Key requirements include repairing pier structures, ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations (including environmental and historic property standards), conducting soil testing and remediation if necessary, disposing of obsolete equipment and hazardous waste, and performing site cleanup and restoration. Fiberglass tanks are preferred due to regulatory requirements, but steel tanks are acceptable. The contractor is responsible for the disposal of fuel from existing tanks.
