Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To repair and rehabilitate the observation deck floor and fire escape of the Control Tower at the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site (TUAI).

• Task 1: Repair Control Tower Observation Deck: Clean and inspect the observation deck floor for cracks and leaks. Repair deficiencies by layering elastomeric roofing to ensure proper flow to the scupper. Coat the entire deck surface with an elastomeric roofing system. Clean and seal the concrete parapet cap.
• Task 2: Replace the Fire Escape: Remove and document the existing wood fire escape. Construct a new fire escape system, including two balconies and a ladder, using pressure-treated wood materials that match the existing structure's dimensions.
