This solicitation is for the replacement of roofs and gutters on two buildings at the Blue Ridge Parkway National Historic Site (BLRI) in Asheville, NC: the Peaks of Otter Ranger Office and the Peaks of Otter Maintenance Shelter. Statement of Work (SOW)

• Removal and disposal of existing asphalt shingles (approx. 1,638 SF) and underlayment.

• Repair or replacement of damaged plywood sheeting, fascia boards, and roof supports (rafters).

• Replacement of all existing flashing.

• Installation of new 30-pound asphalt saturated roofing underlayment.

• Installation of new dark gray, 30-year architectural shingles with interlocking tabs.

• Installation of new drip edges around the entire roof perimeter.
