Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor and equipment to:
- Remove all gantry crane components, including the frame, bridge, hoist, rail, and rail support beams and columns. Connections to concrete decks/piers must be removed with minimal damage, leaving anchors flush with the concrete surface.
- Load, haul, and legally dispose of all removed materials off-site. Contractors may salvage materials at their discretion.
- Install and remove government-furnished stoplogs into each of the three spillway gate bays for operational testing of radial gates. Stoplogs must remain in place for one day per gate (Monday-Thursday), and the single set of stoplogs must be moved between bays. After testing, stoplogs are to be returned to the storage area.
