Scope of Work

• External Abatement: Scraping approximately 1,530 sq ft of exterior wall material that tested positive for asbestos, and applying caulking to windows.
• Containment & Safety: Prevention of dust and debris contamination through full containment under negative air pressure (-0.020 inches of water), proper packaging and labeling of removed materials, and disposal in Government-provided Hazardous Waste Containers.
• Post-Abatement: Post-removal cleaning of all interior surfaces and provision of an air-monitoring specialist (AMS) for final visual inspection and clearance air monitoring.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Contractors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and California DOSH. Specific requirements include:

• Possession of a California C-22 Asbestos Abatement license.
• A California State Certified Asbestos Supervisor must be present during abatement activities.
• Contractor personnel must hold HAZWOPER Supervisor (40-hour) and Worker (24-hour) training certificates.
