- Containment & Safety: Prevention of dust and debris contamination through full containment under negative air pressure (-0.020 inches of water), proper packaging and labeling of removed materials, and disposal in Government-provided Hazardous Waste Containers.
- Post-Abatement: Post-removal cleaning of all interior surfaces and provision of an air-monitoring specialist (AMS) for final visual inspection and clearance air monitoring.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Contractors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and California DOSH. Specific requirements include:

- A California State Certified Asbestos Supervisor must be present during abatement activities.
