• Materials Equivalence: Stainless steel aircraft cable and clamps are not an acceptable substitution for the specified 9-gauge galvanized wire for H-brace structure assembly.
• Period of Performance: The period of performance is 320 days from notice to proceed, with additional days for bid options. The NPS considers this sufficient to complete the work, barring unforeseen conditions.
• Access Road Improvements: Road building is not permitted. Access must be managed carefully to reach the work site, adhering to USFS access permit requirements.
