Quick Summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contract Office 8, is soliciting proposals for a Bid-Build project to upgrade exterior signage and wayfinding at the Thomas H. Corey VA Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL. This opportunity is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. The project magnitude is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Proposals are due June 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST.

Project Scope

The contractor will provide all labor, tools, and materials necessary for a comprehensive upgrade of exterior signage and wayfinding systems. This includes directional wayfinding, identification of buildings, parking garages, parking lots, vehicle and pedestrian routes, and all areas of interest across the campus. Specific work involves campus perimeter/entry points, new or upgraded monument and/or marquee signs, and parking garage signage. Key requirements include:

  • Installation of electrical connections for illuminated signs, with shop drawings prepared by a Florida Licensed Structural Engineer for VA approval.
  • Calculation of sign footing dimensions by a licensed Florida structural engineer, submitted in shop drawing format.
  • Adherence to all applicable codes, standards, and VA design manuals.
  • Maintaining a clean environment, removing all materials, and patching/painting/caulking as needed.
  • Protection of existing structures and vegetation.
