Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for both the repair of existing irrigation systems and the installation of new systems. This includes comprehensive inspection, identification and replacement of faulty components, surveying, design, trenching, and installation of new lines, valves, and heads. A key requirement is the evaluation and practical integration of the existing well and pump system for irrigation purposes. All work must comply with state and local regulations, as well as Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) requirements. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and administration. Deliverables include fully operational repaired and new irrigation zones, documentation of repairs, zone maps, and component documentation.
Contract Details
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation with an estimated value of approximately $19 Million. The Period of Performance is 12 months from the date of award. Bidders must comply with the Service Contract Act (SCA) Wage Determination WD 2015-5237 Rev 30 for the Texas Counties of Bell and Coryell. This determination specifies minimum hourly wage rates, health and welfare benefits ($5.55 per hour or $222.00 per week), paid sick leave (EO 13706), minimum wage (EO 13658), vacation, and holiday pay.
