  • Electrical: Installation of three new paralleled 3MW, 12.47kV diesel generators, associated switchgear, new underground duct banks, pad-mounted transformers, decommissioning existing generators, and integrating system controls.
  • Mechanical: Furnishing and installing dedicated HVAC systems for generators and switchgear, ventilation systems, and two 40,000-gallon double-wall fiberglass underground fuel oil storage tanks.
  • Civil & Site: Construction of a new, blast-rated generator building (approx. 5,100 GSF), extension/rerouting of campus utilities, new site security fencing, blast protection walls, security gates, and site restoration.
  • Multidisciplinary Coordination: All architectural, structural, communications, and security system work required to support the new electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with VA requirements.

All work must conform to the latest VA, federal, state, and local codes and standards, including NFPA and the VA Physical Security and Resiliency Design Manual (PSRDM).
