Scope of Work

This Request for Quote (RFQ) is for a new skid-mounted boom spray rig tender system to replace an aging 31-year-old system used for noxious weed mitigation in the Lake Tschida area. The scope includes:

  • Procurement and Installation: Supply and install a new boom spray rig system onto a 2011 Dodge Ram 3500 flatbed truck (GFP).
  • Removal and Disposal: Remove and dispose of the existing spray system from the GFP.
  • System Specifications: The new system must be herbicide chemical resistant and include:
    • A 45-foot, 3-point hydraulic folding boom sprayer with 27 nozzles spaced 20 inches apart.
    • TeeJet electric control valves, check valve nozzle bodies, and regulating valves.
    • A diaphragm/centrifugal pump with a permanent magnet motor and strainer.
    • A 5.5 HP Honda GX160 gas engine (or equivalent) and a dry pressure regulator.
