Quick Summary
The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS), has issued a Presolicitation for flight-critical electronic components (NSN 7R-5998-013892927-EY). This opportunity is restricted to Government-approved sources due to the item's flight-critical nature and the lack of adequate technical data for full and open competition. Unapproved sources must seek approval by submitting detailed information as outlined by NAVSUP WSS. Responses are due May 22, 2026.
Scope of Work
This requirement is for 23 units of NSN 7R-5998-013892927-EY, an electronic component, with Technical Data Package (TDP) Version 008. Delivery terms are FOB Origin. As a flight-critical item, strict adherence to technical specifications and source approval is paramount.

Government source approval is mandatory prior to contract award. Only sources previously approved by the Government have been solicited. If you are not an approved source, you must submit, along with your proposal, the information detailed in one of the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochures (links provided in the original notice). If your request for source approval is currently being evaluated, submit a copy of the cover letter that forwarded your request. Offers failing to provide all required source approval data will not be considered. The time required for new source approval is significant, and award may proceed based on Fleet support needs if approval cannot be processed in time.
