Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive AV cabling and infrastructure services, including:
- Replacement, upgrade, and integration of analog AV devices.
- Modernization of two conference rooms to be internet meeting capable (MS Teams compatible, supporting native appliances and BYOD).
- Installation of various AV equipment, such as LCD displays, digital media receivers, cameras, microphones, amplifiers, speakers, touch panels (Crestron mandated for monitoring), control systems, networking components, and audio DSPs.
- Upgrade of cabling infrastructure, including Main Distribution Frame (MDF) and Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) cabinets, new fiber backbone (armored where protected pathways are absent), and copper cables, adhering to ANSI/TIA-568, NEC/NFPA 70, and BICSI standards. LC type fiber connectors are required.
- Development and implementation of a testing and commissioning plan, including fiber optic testing and functional tests.
- Provision of training for up to 10 Reclamation personnel on the new AV system's operation and maintenance.
- Submission of design specifications, hardware inventories, and connectivity documentation prior to installation.
- Contractor is responsible for determining quantities of various cabling and rack components. Government will provide network switches, IDF UPS, and WAPs.
