The objective is to prep, paint, and replace flooring systems in specified buildings within the project area.

• Prepare, paint, and replace flooring systems in buildings listed in the project area description.

• All measurements provided are for reference only and must be field-verified by the contractor.

• The contractor is responsible for moving furniture and other objects within the rooms.

• The facility/activity will remain in operation during the entire construction period.

• Operations must cause minimal interference with normal facility/activity operations.

• Supervision: One person may fulfill the roles of Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, and Safety & Health Officer, provided they are duly qualified for all three positions as defined in the project specification.

To prep, paint, and replace flooring systems in Building M457, located at Camp Johnson, according to specified requirements.

Painting:

• Paint all previously painted interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, doors, door frames, and window frames.
• Repair cracks, holes, and damaged surfaces prior to painting.
• Treat mold and mildew areas.
• Apply appropriate compounds to damaged surfaces to match existing finishes.
• Replace damaged or rotten trim boards, siding, and moldings.
• Replace loose, damaged, or missing caulking and glazing compound on windows and doors.
• Prime all repaired surfaces with latex KILZ 2 or equivalent.

• Remove and replace existing flooring transition strips and rubber cove base.

• All work to comply with attached painting and coating specifications.

• All products to be installed per manufacturer specifications.
