Scope of Work
This procurement requires the supply of CARTRIDGE, CHECK VAL in accordance with NAVSEA drawing 845-6903452, item 35, and detailed requirements in Sections C, D, E, and attachments. Key requirements include:
- Material Specifications: Quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis for specific parts (Guide, item 2; Poppet, item 3).
- Testing & Inspection: Required certifications for Non-Destructive Tests (Weld Repair, Production Weld, Performance) and Ultrasonic Inspection (Poppet). Specific pressure and test time tolerances apply.
- Manufacturing Standards: Internal threads must be cut (cold forming not acceptable) and inspected per FED-STD-H28 series. O-ring grooves and sealing surfaces require inspection per invoked drawings/specifications. Welding/Brazing must comply with specified standards (S9074-AR-GIB-010A/278, 0900-LP-001-7000, S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248).
- Environmental & Safety: No intentionally added mercury or mercury-containing compounds.
