Amendment / Modification

This amendment modifies the solicitation/contract by:

• Updating Section B - Statement of Work, B.2. Technical Requirements (RFQ page 6) to specify that the contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to accomplish the supply and installation work within 140 days after the Purchase Order (PO) has been issued and received.

• Updating Section E - Deliveries and Performance, Working Hours (RFQ page 12) to state that all work shall be performed daily from Monday to Sunday, between 08:00 AM and 05:00 PM.

Questions & Answers / Clarifications

• Operational Areas during Renovation: The existing Medical Unit area will remain operational and will be "zoned" to allow continued operation. The expansion area (New Med Unit Area) will be vacated. An alternative work schedule may be proposed.
• Doors: New doors should match existing doors in color and pattern. Similar to "Huge (Ausdoor) Duratex wood – color DR-3.1". If the exact pattern is unavailable, an alternative finish can be proposed.
• Ceiling System: The entire existing ceiling system will be removed and replaced with a new one.
• Furniture: The Embassy will support furniture removal/movement; existing furniture will not be removed by the client before handover.

• Power Supply Cable: The Embassy will provide cabling to the new 50Amp panel in Med Units. The contractor is required to supply a new 50 Amp panel, circuit breakers, bus bars, accessories, and make final connections.
• Wires and Conduits: Cabling and conduit for telephone and LAN networks are included in the contractor's scope of work.
• M&E Equipment: Specific brands are suggested (Schneider Electric, Siemens, Panasonic for electrical; Daikin, Mitsubishi for air conditioning; Tien Phong pipe, Vesbo for plumbing), but equivalent substitutions are acceptable and will be evaluated.
• Temporary Power/Water: Electricity and water will be supplied by the Embassy. A remote water closet will be provided.
• Warranty Period: Refer to RFQ Section G, paragraph G.7., FAR clause 52.246-21.
• Waste Collection: The contractor is responsible for transport/disposal costs and arrangements. Trips should be limited to minimize disruption.
• Interior Work: Interior work is included in the contractor's scope.
