Scope of Work
The selected vendor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, monitoring, and supervision to maintain and support fully installed security systems. Key services include:
- Systems Covered: Intrusion Detection, Access Control, and Video Surveillance.
- Monitoring: Central station signal receiving and notification service with a 24-hour test timer. Contractor will notify Police/Fire and VA contacts upon alarm/trouble signals.
- Protection Plan: Covers Secom-installed parts and labor for natural faults/failures (exclusions apply, e.g., batteries, network issues, vandalism). After-hours calls and issues unrelated to Secom-installed parts are billable.
- Warranty: Limited one-year parts warranty from installation completion (labor excluded, specific exclusions apply).
- Operational Hours: Normal service hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Approved work times for this job are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
- Deliverables: Active monitoring, protection plan coverage, project completion email notice, single deployment training, and data sheets/manuals upon request.
