Scope of Work
The project involves the comprehensive replacement of existing refrigeration systems for two Norlake walk-in freezers (10L x 9W x 9H, maintaining -15°C to -20°C). Key tasks include:
- Demolition and disposal of current equipment and R404A refrigerant.
- Furnishing and installation of new 4.5hp scroll-type condensing units (A2L compatible) and low-profile electric defrost evaporator coils.
- Installation of new solenoid, check, and electronic expansion valves, and replacement of control panels (e.g., IntelliGen Field Mount iFM Kit).
- Installation of new ACR copper refrigeration piping with brazed joints and elastomeric foam insulation.
- Provision of new refrigerant (meeting Safe Alternatives requirements) and POE oil.
- Installation of secondary condensate drain lines and all necessary electrical connections.
- System start-up, leak checks, operational adjustments, and owner training.
- A minimum 90-day warranty on materials, equipment, and workmanship. Work must be performed one freezer at a time, with condensers located on the second floor and evaporators on the ground floor. The installer is responsible for all electrical work to energize the new system.
