  • Facilities: Providing and maintaining adequate corrals (minimum 700 sq ft per animal for holding, 400 sq ft for separate corrals), covered working areas, and ensuring pens are clean, dry, and secure.
  • Health Services: Furnishing veterinary services (vaccinations, deworming, EIA tests, emergency treatment up to $350/year per animal) with a veterinarian on call within 4 hours. Hoof trimming and carcass disposal are also required.
  • Reporting: Daily feed/care logs, incident reports within 24 hours, and transportation notifications 72 hours prior to animal movement.

Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). Task Orders will be FFP.
  • Period of Performance: Five (5) years from contract award (base year + four 1-year ordering periods).
