Key Requirements & Conditions
The Fuel Oil Reclaimed is sold "AS-IS," with the Government making no warranty regarding its quantity, kind, character, quality, weight, size, fitness for use, or purpose. However, the product is expected to meet or exceed MIL-F-24951B (SA) specifications (Exhibit B). Offerors are strongly encouraged to inspect the product and take samples (up to 5 gallons) prior to bidding. The FOR is considered hazardous material, and purchasers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations for its removal and handling. Contract Details & Submission
This is a Negotiated Sales Contract, and award will be made to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer(s) are most advantageous to the Government, considering cost or price and other factors. Up to three (3) contracts may be awarded. Offers must be for the removal of all products for each line item. Payment terms include options for a Letter of Credit or Cashier's Check for 75% of the product cost upfront, with the balance due 10 days after title transfer. Title and risk of loss pass to the purchaser at the point the product enters the purchaser's conveyance at the pickup location. The removal period for the first pickup is 20 days after notification of product availability.
