Scope of Work
The contractor will provide and install low-profile utility bodies on two specific 2024 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 single rear wheel chassis (Six Rivers Equipment numbers EN-1264 and EN-1263). This includes all necessary supplies, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision. All materials must conform to applicable Federal specifications and standards.
Key Construction Details:
- Substructure: One-piece continuous torsion-box frame.
- Body Fabrication: Minimum A-40 galvanneal steel.
- Compartments: Integral full-length drip rail, formed fronts, weather-tight door seals, two adjustable divider tracks per vertical compartment.
- Door Gaskets: Continuous black closed cell neoprene, D-shaped open center with adhesive back, plus a small inner gasket for double seal. Sectional, foam, or closed center gaskets are not acceptable.
- Bed Floor: 1/8" diamond plate steel, 2" bend along inner sidewalls, completely flat with no wheel riser boxes.
- Doors: Double panel lap type (18 gauge outer, 20-gauge inner), seal welded, full-length stainless steel hinges. Vertically hinged doors feature over-center spring checks and 3-point locking T-handles. Horizontally hinged doors also require locking T-handles, with the driver's side horizontal compartment requiring two.
- Lighting: Full length LED strip lighting in each exterior compartment.
- Additional Features: Polished aluminum tread plate body protection panels, 12"H fold-down rear tailgate, diamond plate rear bumper, non-skid coating on top exterior surfaces and bed area, electronic audible back-up alarm, Class 4 receiver hitch with 7-way flat pin plug, and installed back-up camera.
- Finish: Full undercoating, prime paint, and finish paint to match the cab.
