Scope of Work
The requirement is for mold cleaning, abatement, remediation services, and ceiling repair at AFLCMC, Bldg. 856, Montgomery, AL. The contractor will furnish all labor, services, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision. Key tasks include:
- Removal of moisture-damaged and mold-contaminated materials.
- Cleaning and treatment of affected wall cavities, carpets, vents, return registers, light fixtures, and ceiling tiles with EPA-registered disinfectant and mold inhibitor.
- Replacing approximately 2890 ceiling tiles and 104 sq ft of damaged ceiling grid.
- Cleaning all furniture and system furniture in affected rooms.
- Cleaning and treating wall surfaces in Rooms 112, 117, and 207 (totaling 13,171 sq ft).
- Minimizing impact on building occupants and managing construction dust.
- Daily cleaning and disposal of construction debris.
- Contractor is responsible for all air testing and moisture level testing prior to build-back.
- Localized isolation is expected for affected rooms, not full negative air containment.
- The source of moisture intrusion has been corrected; contractors should confirm if residual moisture remediation is needed.
