Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and services to perform comprehensive dry dock maintenance and repairs. Key requirements include:
- Hauling out the vessel, pressure washing, and scraping marine growth.
- Applying two coats of black, ablative, copper-free antifouling paint to the hull.
- Replacing zinc anodes.
- Repairing fiberglass cracks and blisters, and repainting the hull, cabin, and cabin overhead deck.
- Upgrading interior, below-deck lighting to high-quality LED fixtures.
- Correcting failed paint coatings and repainting engine and tank compartments.
- Checking and adjusting propeller shaft alignments.
- Rebuilding the steering gear.
- Replacing deck fittings for fuel, water, and waste with stainless-steel fittings.
- Replacing stainless-steel exhaust piping components in the engine room.
Optional tasks include additional LED lighting replacements and compartment painting.
