• Controls must be BACnet/MSTP, monitor phase loss, over/under voltage, line, and load monitoring, and enable chiller at 45°F and above.

• Reinstall and make operable any existing control interface.

• Chiller manufacturer must have a service organization within 35 miles of Camp Lejeune, NC.

• Comply with the Buy America Act/Free Trade Agreement.

• Develop piping diagrams based on chiller selection.

• All piping 4" and below to be copper; 5" and greater to be schedule 40 welded steel.

• External piping requires heat trace and minimum 2" polyisocyanurate insulation with aluminum UV cover.

• Install by-pass piping and valves for testing and flushing.

• Replace electrical disconnects, liquid tight conduit, and connectors.

• Perform hydrostatic test on installed piping (no testing through chiller barrel).

• Chiller start-ups must be performed by manufacturer-authorized personnel.

• Install chillers according to manufacturer's clearance recommendations.

• Provide spec sheets for material and equipment for approval.

• Provide Maximo Equipment Inventory Sheet for each piece of equipment removed and installed.

• Contract to be completed within 300 days after award.

• Scheduled outages to be scheduled 14 days prior to equipment shut down.

• Contractor shall ensure all employees and subcontractors have access and are fully vetted.

• Contractor grants Public Works the right to all HVAC equipment, including chillers, AHUs, DOAS units, and DDC controllers involved in the sequence of operation.

• Contractor shall give Public Works the right to reclaim all refrigerant.

• Any controls on existing chillers to be installed on new chillers can be removed and installed by the contractor.

• After Public Works remove parts, the chiller becomes the property of the contractor for disposal.

• Submittals include proposals, work schedules, manufacturer's product specifications (name, product line, warranty).
