Quick Summary
The U.S. Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground, Belvoir Division intends to issue a sole-source modification to an existing Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract (W909MY-23-D0004) held by Evergreen Fire and Security. This action will increase the contract ceiling by $99.92M to support the continued fielding of the Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System-VI (ICIDS-VI). This is a Presolicitation notice, not a request for competitive proposals.
Purpose & Scope
The modification is necessary to fund the completion of ICIDS-VI installations at additional Army installations (CONUS and OCONUS) and for ongoing 10-year service life replacements, as mandated by the Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) OPMG’s new Fielding Plan. ICIDS-VI is a highly secure, standardized Intrusion Detection System. The Government has determined that Evergreen Fire and Security is the only source capable of providing these services without unacceptable duplication of costs or critical mission disruption, citing their unique knowledge and the specialized nature of the work.
