Scope of Work
The contract covers maintenance, repair, replacement, and/or demolition of Plumbing, HVAC-R, Mechanical, Electrical, and Control Systems. This includes routine and emergency response tasks, as well as ancillary construction and facility support services such as carpentry, road repair, painting, and snow removal. All work must comply with the Buy American Act, and the latest Service Contract Labor Standards and Construction Wage Rate Requirements Act for Ada County, Idaho.
Key Requirements:
- The prime contractor must possess current, valid Plumbing and HVAC-R contractor licenses in the State of Idaho at the time of proposal submission.
- A prime contractor representative must respond on-site at the Boise VAMC within two (2) hours for any emergent need.
- All parts, materials, equipment, or software installed must be VA-approved, the most recent edition, and not obsolete.
- A one-year warranty is required on all materials, equipment, software, and labor.
