Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive janitorial services, including all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision, for designated spaces within the U.S. Embassy in Nassau. Services encompass halls, offices, restrooms, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, elevators, and stairways. This includes both Standard Routine Services (daily, periodic, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual cleaning tasks) and Temporary Additional Services for special events, which may require 24-hour advance notice.
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price
- Period of Performance: One base year with four (4) one-year option periods.
- Set-Aside: UNRESTRICTED
- Minimum Order (Temporary/Additional Services): 100 sqm per base year and each option period.
- Maximum Order (Temporary/Additional Services): 15,000 sqm per base year and each option period.
- U.S. firms will be paid in U.S. dollars; non-U.S. firms in local currency.

- Pre-Proposal Conference: A conference will be held on May 27, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the U.S. Embassy Nassau. Interested offerors must contact Deana Nelson by May 25, 2026, to arrange entry.
- Proposal Due Date: June 10, 2026, at 17:00 local time. Late proposals will not be accepted.
- Submission Method: Electronically to NassauContractingOfficers@state.gov. Proposals should be in MS-Word, MS-Excel, or Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format. Individual files must not exceed 30MB; multiple files are permitted.
- Evaluation Criteria: Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable, responsible offeror, based on Compliance Review, Technical Acceptability (past performance and experience), Price Evaluation, and Responsibility Determination.
Eligibility & Requirements
Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to proposal submission. Required documents include:
