To obtain professional language services to ensure effective communication with non-native English speakers and communities impacted by the severe storms, flooding, and remnants of Typhoon Halong in October 2025. These services will support disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and community engagement efforts.

• Provide professional, in-person, spoken language, and sight interpreting services between English and Central Alaskan Yup'ik.

• Services to be provided in Anchorage, Bethel, and/or other communities or villages impacted by ex-Typhoon Halong.

• Interpreters may interpret meetings, phone calls, video calls, one-on-one interactions, media events/interviews, and sight interpretation of documents.

• Over-the-phone interpreting will be performed by the Contractor, who is responsible for ensuring connection integrity, bandwidth, and providing necessary equipment.

• Remote interpretation services include interpreting for callers into FEMA's Alaska Call Center and for survivors via over-the-phone or video conferencing.
