Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the design, equipment provision, installation, testing, training, and documentation of these integrated systems. Key components include:
- Fire Alarm System: Replacement of the existing system with a code-compliant, non-proprietary solution.
- Intrusion Alarm System: Replacement with a fully operational, non-proprietary system.
- CCTV Surveillance System: Replacement with a modern digital system, including indoor/outdoor cameras, a Network Video Recorder (NVR) with at least 7 days of footage retention, Milestone compatibility, NDAA compliance, and use of Axis Communication cameras.
- Door Access Control System: Installation of a non-proprietary system for four doors, including card readers, a standalone workstation, and software managing up to 50 users. All systems must operate on a separate, isolated network and comply with NPS, DOI, NFPA, and other applicable codes. The contractor must ensure continuous Visitor Center operations during normal business hours and provide a minimum one-year warranty on equipment and labor. Responsibilities also include site surveys, permits, coordination with NPS personnel, debris removal, and on-site training. Battery backup for ACS, VSS, and IDS systems must last 8 hours.
