The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Albany Stratton VAMC is seeking to upgrade its Physical Access Control System (PACS) by installing PIV-enabled access control hardware on four doors and integrating these components into the existing Lenel OnGuard PACS environment. This upgrade aims to enhance controlled access, alarm monitoring, and life-safety compliance, and to address limitations with the current Lenel OnGuard ADV SUSP license which has reached its 256-reader capacity.

• Hardware Installation: Installation of PIV-enabled access control hardware on four specific doors (Medical Gas Storage, Bio-Med Room, Emergency Department Circle Entrance, VIP Ramp Entrance).
