Quick Summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), through its Network Contract Office 8, has issued an amendment to RFQ 36C24826Q0380 for the provision and installation of a Software House C•CURE 9000 Physical Access Control System (PACS) at the Lee County VA Healthcare Center (LCHC) in Cape Coral, FL. This project aims to standardize the access control system across the Bay Pines Community. Amendment 0001 extends the quote due date to April 8, 2026, at 4:30 PM EST.

Scope of Work

The contractor will furnish and install all necessary hardware, software, and associated components for a complete and operational Software House C•CURE 9000 PACS. The system must be PIV-compatible, FIPS 201 approved, and support both PIV (13.56 MHz) and legacy proximity (125 kHz) credentials. It will operate as a standalone system but be configured for future integration into the Bay Pines enterprise C•CURE 9000 environment. Key requirements include installing and configuring C•CURE 9000 server, administration, and monitoring applications (minimum three workstations), configuring the system for full operational capability (credential management, alarm monitoring, event reporting), and ensuring compatibility with facility backup and recovery processes. The system will include 132 access-controlled doors/readers. Existing cabling, power supplies, and locking hardware may be reused if they meet manufacturer specifications and pass testing; otherwise, new components must be provided. New network switches are required and will be provided by the contractor. All work must be performed by Software House certified personnel.
