Scope of Work

- Lot & Packaging: Each lot must be approximately 19,000 kg, contained in 76 new UN 1A2 compliant steel drums (approx. 250 kg/drum). Pallets must be new, hardwood, and ISPM 15 compliant.
- Sampling & Testing: Government-witnessed sampling (CONUS) requires 20 business days' notice. A sampling plan must be submitted with the proposal. Testing must be performed by an independent, CONUS-based, ISO 17025 certified third-party laboratory. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is required for each lot.
- Delivery: Contractor is responsible for transportation and insurance to DLA Strategic Materials depots in Scotia, NY; Hawthorne, NV; Hammond, IN; or DLA Columbus, OH. Deliveries must be scheduled 15 business days in advance and completed within 12 months of order issuance.
- Material Source: DFARS clause 252.225-7008 applies, requiring material melted or produced in the U.S. or its outlying areas. Brazilian material may be considered if DFARS-compliant material is unavailable.
